We are building an international resource on Japanese native horses!
Japanese native horses are little known internationally, yet many compelling stories and valuable research insights exist. We aim to share them in English so that more people can appreciate the deep connections between these horses and Japan’s way of life.
Our contributors have kindly agreed to share English translations of their original writings in this spirit. Some content may be challenging to read, as we strive to remain faithful to the original texts and to build an archive that is useful for future research.
